Nice to see some good weather around! Yes, the sun has been shining and let’s hope it stays that way.
Last week was all about family with relatives in town, which meant a lot of dinners and travelling around. We went to a beautiful, rustic and stylish place up on Mount Batu Karan called Buanan Sari – t’was great to get back into some nature. Wow, so beautiful.
There was also a very succesful jazz event held in Ubud last weekend. The Ubud Village Jazz Festival was on for the 13th time and this year was bigger and even better.

Not much else to report other than Bali appears to be buzzing with loads of visitors in town as we gear up for the busy period around Aug 17 – the Hari Merdeka holidays. They say there has been an increase in numbers because of the recent Thai/Cambodia troubles. Not sure if that is true, but anyway, it looks busy, let’s hope it is for the many venues in town.
Have a good weekend ya’ll
